Interpreter-Supported Consultations · Mandarin & Cantonese

Chinese-language migration support through professional interpreters.

We do not have a native Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking Registered Migration Agent on staff. What we offer instead is registered, experienced migration advice paired with professional interpreters so your case is handled in the language you understand best. Many of our Chinese-speaking clients prefer this model: the quality of advice matters more than the language of the agent.

How interpreter-supported consultations work

Quality of advice over language of the agent.

We arrange professional NAATI-accredited interpreters when clients prefer consultation in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Initial consultationProfessional interpreter arranged in advance for the first consultation. Face-to-face at our Brisbane office or by video.
Written evidenceChinese documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, educational records) translated by NAATI-accredited translators. We coordinate this and review output for visa accuracy.
ART hearingsTribunal provides interpreters at no cost to the applicant. We request the interpreter in advance and prepare you for the questions likely to arise.
Case managementOngoing communication can be by email, through family members who speak English, or with a family-arranged interpreter at in-person meetings where needed.

Chinese is the most commonly spoken language other than English in Australia.

The 2021 Census recorded over 600,000 Mandarin speakers and over 280,000 Cantonese speakers. Demand for quality Chinese-language migration support is consistent and growing, particularly in the student, 485 graduate, and skilled migration pathways.

Common questions from Chinese-speaking clients

The questions we hear most.

For Chinese-speaking consultation with interpreter support, book online or call Brisbane.

Does Education Embassy have Mandarin-speaking staff?
Not currently on the registered practitioner team. We offer interpreter-supported consultations with NAATI-accredited professional interpreters for Mandarin and Cantonese clients.
Do I pay extra for interpreter services?
Interpreter fees are handled transparently. For ART hearings the Tribunal provides interpreters at no cost to you. For private consultations we can either arrange an interpreter (cost advised upfront) or work through a family member who speaks English.
Can you handle my Chinese document translation?
We do not provide translation directly but coordinate with NAATI-accredited translators and review the translated output for visa accuracy.
Why would I choose Education Embassy over a Chinese-speaking agent?
Because quality of advice matters more than language of the agent. We are MARA-registered, have been practising since 2014, and handle complex ART appeals and employer sponsorship matters that many smaller practices cannot.
