Financial requirements

You have to prove that you have sufficient funds to pay the fees of student visas. You also need to prove that you will be able to bear the expenses such as accommodation, travelling, and other things.

• If you are alone, then you have to show funds such as AU$20,290 for a year.

• If you have dependents including a spouse and children, then you have to show AU$60,000 a year. These expenses include accommodation cost, school fees of your children, and travelling costs too.

English proficiency requirement

First of all, you have to take the IELTS or PTE English language proficiency test. And you have to get almost 6 plus bands in each module according to your course. If you are going for a doctorate, then you may need to get 7 or 8 bands in each module. You must check the requirement with your agent and then start preparing for the test.

Health and character requirements

You must show that you are completely healthy and fit. You are not suffering from any type of chronic disease. Apart from this, you have to show that you do not have any type of criminal record.
