Australian Capital Territory invites almost 54 Candidates for PR

You may hear that the Australian Capital Territory invite almost 54 candidates to Australia to get a Permanent Residency, to live, study, and work there for an unlimited period. Well, candidates who are invited can simply apply under two visa categories such as-:

Let’s have a look at both visa types.

Visa type

Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

This visa allows you to live and work in Australia for an unlimited time period. With this visa, you will be able to get a Permanent residency easily.

This visa is designed for skilled workers as well as postgraduate alumni who have a great deal of knowledge and experience to live and work in Queensland permanently.

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)

As the name depicts, this visa is designed for those who wish to work in regional areas of Australia such as regional Queensland for at least 5 years.

Well, this is a type of provisional visa, which gives you a new path to permanent residency. Employment can be taken in such ways include-:

  • Work in own business as an owner/operator

  • Two part-time jobs

  • Work for one or more employers

So, if you are planning to apply under these categories, you have to get the proper information from migration agents in Brisbane, because only they can guide you well accordingly.

Moreover, if you want to qualify for a state nomination by ACT, then you have to file the Canberra matrix first. You also need to know the matrix score which ranges from 90 to 135 points. If you do not get an invitation within six months, then a matrix will automatically expire.

Australian Citizen Territory will start accepting applications for the Subclass 491 Visa from 1st January 2020.

If you are thinking to apply for permanent residency, then you have to submit your application according to new rules and regulations. You also need to understand the stages of State nomination by ACT. These are-:

  • By ACT, eligible candidates must express interest in a state nomination by completing a matrix of Canberra. You can either choose the nomination pathway for 491 or the nomination pathway for 190. Highest-scoring candidates in each process are invited by ACT to qualify for a state nomination.

  • Those people who are invited to apply for state nomination by ACT, they must submit their application as well as application fee within 14 days. In addition to this, they also need to submit all the necessary documents along with the application. Apart from this, they also need to submit their matrix score, so that the government can plan on them. If you will be unable to meet the requirements, then you will not be able to apply or not apply for ACT state nomination.
